Consulting interview guides for you
Created by a former consultant and recruiter. These guides are my knowledge to help you get the offer you deserve.
First I recruited for the UK’s biggest consultancies. Then I joined one as a management consultant.
A lot of interview prep is mass-produced by AI now. This isn’t. I’ve seen loads of interview prep sites charge massive prices for AI-generated content, automated feedback and information you don’t need. I’ll tell you what firms are really looking for. Every guide is built and checked by me, with my own notes on every stage, written for each firm from what I’ve learned in the industry.

Hi, I’m the Fox
As a recruiter, I prepped candidates for every stage and heard straight from the firms why they got the offer, or didn’t. Then I crossed over and worked as a consultant, alongside the people who’d be interviewing you.
The same thing kept happening: great people missing out because nobody told them what firms wanted.
So I created The Fox Kit.
Why it’s different
I’ve done the job. That’s the difference.
Built and checked by a person
I build and check every guide myself, and every Fox’s note is my own advice. No AI mock interviews, no avatars, no made-up “model answers”. What you get is my judgement, from prepping candidates for these interviews and then doing the job they lead to.
A reasonable price
A fraction of what other firm packs cost. You shouldn’t have to pay a fortune to find out what an assessor wants.
One firm at a time
Every firm runs its process differently, so every guide covers one firm only. No generic “consulting tips” that could apply to anyone.
“Can’t I find this for free?”
Some of it, yes. I’ll be straight with you: this is my business. What you’re paying for isn’t information you could Google. It’s years of insight from recruiting for these firms and working inside one, put together so you can actually use it.
Each firm publishes its stages, and free careers sites describe them too. Read them. I list my sources at the back of every guide so you can check my work.
What free sites don’t tell you is what actually scores well, where good candidates lose marks, and how to turn your own experience into strong answers. That comes from being on both sides of the table. And the free stuff is scattered across dozens of sites, some of it years out of date.
Why it’s worth it
- Hours of research done for you, in one place, for one firm
- Dated and checked against current sources
- Worked weak vs strong answers and worksheets, not just a list of stages
- Less than a takeaway, and far less than an hour with an interview coach

Questions people ask me
Who is the Fox?
I’m the person behind The Fox Kit. First I recruited for the UK’s biggest consultancies, prepping candidates for every stage and hearing straight from the firms why they got the offer, or didn’t. Then I crossed over and worked as a management consultant inside one, alongside the people who’d be interviewing you. I go by the Fox.
Which firms do you cover?
The UK’s major consultancies: management and strategy, technology and systems integration, and digital agencies. New firms are added regularly. Email me at [email protected] and tell me which one you need.
Are you connected to the firms?
No. The Fox Kit is independent and isn’t endorsed by any firm. The guides use public information and my own recruiting and consulting experience, never internal materials or test answers.
I have work experience. Is this for me?
The current guides are for graduate schemes and internships. Experienced-hire editions are coming in 2027. Email me at [email protected] if you’d like a heads-up when they’re out.

A PDF you can read on your phone or laptop, delivered straight after you buy.
What if the process changes?
